Overdosed on Confidence.

Katie smiled and turned around, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing her lips to his. He smiles against her lips and murmurs, “hello to you, too!”
Katie giggles and kisses him quickly again, tracing his lips lightly with the tip if her tongue. She is smiling as she feels more than hears his low moan, and allows her mouth to open as he deepens the kiss. She pulls away for a moment and grins. “What were you saying about a suprise?”

Drew moved his arms around the small of her back, pressing the pads of his hands against her skin, pulling her close against him, their bodies finally connecting in a tight embrace. He tilted his head down a bit, capturing his lips in hers as she murmurs a hello. He chuckled, kissing her back once more, feeling her tongue poke out of her mouth, running along his lips. A low moan escaped his lips as the kiss deepened, the sound vibrating out of his mouth and into Katie’s. After a few more minutes of kissing, he pulls away and presses his forehead against hers, their skin rubbing against each other slightly. “You’ll see. Soon. Very soon. I just wanna kiss you a few more times first.” He clarifies, kissing her deeply again.

Katie runs a brush through her hair one final time before checking her outfit and exiting the room to meet Drew. She walks outside, running the tube of Chapstick over her lips again as she opens the door of her old red convertible, sliding into the worn leather seat and buckling her seatbelt. As she pulls out of her driveway and shifts the car into ‘drive,’ she reaches over and turns on the radio to calm her ridiculous nerves. A few minutes later, she pulls into the parking lot of the local park, smiling and smoothing her hair again. She exits the car, and vaults to the top of the hill to wait for Drew.

Looking down at his cellphone, he quickly checked the time—just to make sure he wouldn’t be late to meet Katie. “Perfect timing,” He said quietly to himself, sliding his phone back into the front pocket of his jeans, returning it into its caged confinement. The walk to the park was one he had taken often, considering it was the same one he used to get to school on days when he had to walk. He began to walk faster as the park came into view, knowing full well that Katie wouldn’t want to be kept waiting if she had arrived first. Running a hand through his hair, Drew walked up the paved pathway that led to the hill, noticing a slender figure standing at the peak, seemingly waiting for someone. Without saying a word, he walked up quickly behind Katie, wrapping his arms around her from behind, pulling her into a tight embrace. “Hey, you.” He whispered, leaving a kiss on the nape of her neck.
